Blowing Bubbles!

Date: 11th Jun 2017 @ 10:07pm

In our science lesson this week, we started our new topic: Brilliant Bubbles! This term we'll be working scientifically to carry out a range of different experiments which involve different kinds of bubbles. We will plan fair tests, record our results and analyse them using tables and graphs.

This week, we did an investigation to make the best bubble mixture. We discussed what we meant by 'the best': more bubbles? Stronger bubbles? Bigger bubbles? Better smelling bubbles? Then we planned our experiments. Most of us investigated strong bubbles, and we used different types of dish soap to compare.

We were really surprised to find that when we blew our bubbles on the floor, they bounced and rolled across the carpet!
