Snow aliens

Date: 28th Feb 2017 @ 7:33pm

We weren't expecting the snow today, but we were all excited to play in it that we took our search for the aliens outside.

The children made snow aliens, drew alien bodies and wrote alien words in the snow and as you can see from the pictures we enjoyed it very much.

A good reminder that children need to have suitable clothing at all times. The weather can be unpredictable and we need to be prepared for this so that moments of enjoyment like today can happen.

Outoodr learning is just as equally important for your child as indoor learning. The outdoors provides us with resources and opportunities that can't happen inside such as climbing, observing wildlife, and experiencing different weather conditions. It also ensures that each child can be active and have a healthy lifestyle.

We are so glad he enjoyed it. Maybe you could help him make an alien or rocket at home to bring in for us to see? Miss Hay
