Volcanoes, earthquakes and tsunamis!

Date: 10th Jan 2016 @ 9:15pm

The Spring term started with a 'BANG' this week as we started our new learning challenge about volcanoes, earthquakes and tsunamis! Our learning challenge question is: 'What makes the Earth angry?'

So far we have learnt about what is beneath our feet, and we are excited to find out how a volcano is formed and what causes them to erupt.

Your homework challenge this half term is research about a famous volcano. You might choose your team name, e.g.- Mount Vesuvius or Mount St Helens. Or you might want to find out more about the Icelandic volcano if you can spell it! I think it is Eyjafjallajökullyes
