Nursery thought about all of the wonderful stories that we have read together all year. We voted for our favourites, they were Little Rabbit Foo Foo, We're Going on a Bear Hunt and Brown Bear Brown Bear What Do You See?
Today in Nursery we invited our Daddies to Stay and Play. We decorated biscuits, potted some plants and made lots of wonderful cards and pictures! Thank you Daddies for visiting us!
Here are some photographs of Nursery enjoying their Easter egg Hunt! We even had a surprise visit from Easter Bunny himself!
We invited our Mummies to come to our Stay and Play session on Friday to celebrate Mother's Day. We decorated biscuits, made cards, pictures and play dough flowers together. We then had story time, afterwards we gave our Mummies presents of flowers, photographs and chocolates.
We had lots of fun! The children have chosen to find out more about Dinosaurs, so we decided to make a swamp for them. Here we are mixing soap flakes with water and then enjoying playing in the swamp!
n Nursery we have been finding out all about Chinese New Year. On Monday we had a workshop. Linda from the Manchester Chinese Centre came to visit. She read us traditional stories and we took part in a Lion Dance, even our parents joined in!
We have tasted Chinese food and taken home a lucky red envelope which had a good luck message inside. We have had lots of fun playing in our Chinese Takeaway and making our dragon! For the end of our topic we are dressing in red, which is the Chinese symbol of good luck. On Wednesday, school celebrated Mother Tongue Day. In Nursery we invited one of our parents in to teach the children how to count in Kurdish. We had great fun!
