Good morning children! I hope you had a great weekend and are up for a focused week of learning! These are the learning activities we want you to complete this week in addition to english and maths: 1. The Joe Wicks’ work out which will be shown on his you tube channel. The work out starts at 9am and lasts for 30 minutes. Click on this link to take part in his work out:https://www.youtube.com/user/thebodycoach1 2. From 9.30 – 10.00 am, we want you to practice your spellings. The spelling lists have been uploaded with this blog entry below. We suggest that you practise ten spellings each day (start on step 5a). Remember to use the ‘Look, say, cover, write, check’ method to remember the spellings. In addition, look up the meaning of each word and practise writing sentences including the words that you have learnt. 3. From 10.00 – 10.15 am, Dr Chipindall will doing ‘live’ teaching of computing, science or engineering (these lessons will now occur on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). Go to the following blog page to take part in this learning:https://drchips.weebly.com/ 4. Straight after lunch, we want you to do some reading for half an hour. Read your book or online text to an experienced reader (this could be your mum, dad, carer, brother, sister or any other relative). While you are reading, ask the person who is listening to you read to ask you questions about the book/text. Lists of questions that you could be asked by your reading partner have been uploaded with this blog entry below. If you have any questions about the learning activities then please email your teacher at: [email protected] (for Mr Ahmed-Swift) [email protected] (for Mr Tait) ![]()

They have both worked really hard this week, and sent me their excellent work. Well done! Hello everyone,
For 5C's star of the week I have chosen Humayra, who has done some excellent oracy work. It was excellent because she thought carefully about different points of view and then decided on her own point of view. Well done Humayra! Do you think you can complete this week's workbook today?
