Hello children,
Don't forget to go onto MyMaths to complete any activities you haven't done yet. I have also set some more revision work focusing on multiplication. https://www.mymaths.co.uk/ Also, remember to keep practising your times tables. Use times tables rockstars to practise: https://play.ttrockstars.com/ Happy learning!

Please complete Lesson 4 (week 3) from the "White Rose Home Learning."
As always, there is a tutorial and answers. Hello Year 5 children,
For the last day of Spring term, I would like you to let your imaginations run wild and do some creative writing! I’d like you to write a setting description for the picture below. Make sure you use detailed description, which will involve using words such as adjectives and adverbs. For this short write, I don’t want you to worry about writing targets but it may help to use complex sentences, similes and metaphors to make your writing more interesting. Above all, relax and enjoy it! Either write your descriptions in the comment box below or e-mail your writing to the usual e-mail addresses: [email protected] (for Mr Ahmed-Swift) [email protected] (for Mr Tait) This is my effort so far: The rainbow burst through the crystalline, blue sky, while rays of light danced on the sparkling sea. Majestically, castle towers reached high into the sky like giant arrows. Lush vines grabbed onto the side of the castle walls and faint, alluring voices could be heard in the castle grounds. This was a magical world. A world of fantastic fairies, greedy goblins, odious ogres and tiny heroes. The grand, main door of the magnificent castle slowly creaked open… Have fun! 5C's star of the week is Muhammad1 for getting involved with a range of learning activities, whilst being at home! Great effort Muhammad1 and I look forward to seeing more of your learning after the Easter break!
Have a great holiday and stay safe! Mr Tait Good morning children!
