Do you know what a "determiner" is in SPAG? You should do because it is something we have covered in Year 5 (and Year 4.) Write three sentences that have a determiner in them, and underline the determiner. After that, follow this link to today's writing activity: https://www.pobble365.com/ Click on the link for some useful information from the Co-op Academy about taster information for Year 5:
.https://transition.cam.coop/year-5 One of the activities I gave you recently was to sing a song that had a metre of 3. This song is Canterbury bells. Do you remember it.? It has a strong sway to it which makes it easier to count the metre of three:1, 2, 3.
I'd like you to listen to another song from a film called Oliver. The song is 'Oom- pah-pah' Click on the link and listen to the song. Listen carefully and start to count the metre on Oom- pah pah 1 2 3 Can you get to the end of the song tapping the metre of three? Challenge yourself and remember , the secret is in your listening skills. Practise often !https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8ee9qq9ECc Mr R Please complete the Summer Term - Week 9 (w/c 22nd June) Lesson 3 Multiply decimals by 10, 100 and 1000
